Alan brings over twenty-eight years of extensive practical experience in Health, Safety and Security Management across a wide range of highly regulated industries. These include marine construction, vessel operations, offshore platforms, refinery operations, aviation, sea and land transportation, logistics, civils and onshore fabrication of marine assets and above ground installations. His background is characterized by a strong reputation and resilience, honed through global assignments on complex projects as both customer and contractor.

As a member of both regional and corporate management teams, Alan played a pivotal role in fostering collaboration and dialogue to achieve operational excellence by leveraging global expertise and incorporating local perspectives. His professional career involved HSS planning and execution on both brownfield projects and downstream operations. In his consultancy role, Alan specializes in offering customised, practical, and effective risk and asset management solutions enabling businesses to enhance safety performance, improve efficiency and profitability and comply with regulatory requirements throughout the entire business process - from conception and planning to construction, installation, operations, and eventual decommissioning.

Alan holds an MSc in Environment, Health and Safety (with Merit), with research on "Occupational Injuries - Examination of Trends and Investigation Process in Marine Construction." He is also a Certified Member of IOSH and is qualified under NEBOSH and as a Lead Auditor for ISO management system standards. He  has successfully completed several technical ROSPA approved programs on occupational Health and Safety, as well as UKATA approved courses on Asbestos Management.

As a multi-lingual professional with over twenty years of specialised experience, Janna designs and implements sustainability and ESG management systems, environmental risk and impact assessments and regulatory environmental compliance frameworks. She also has extensive environmental auditing and performance reporting experience.

Drawing on her experience as a consultant and lead roles, Janna has understanding of the intricacies involved in planning, executing, and managing large-scale infrastructure projects worldwide and is  well-versed in the complex regulations governing both land-based and offshore environments in Europe, the Caspian Region and the Middle East. With over a decade of experience working on assignments with a global Engineering, Procurement and Construction Contractor, she has led development, implementation and certification of integrated management systems as well as assurance and performance reporting.

Janna holds an MSc in Environment, Health and Safety from University of Sunderland, a BSc in Philology (English) and is a graduate member of IOSH. She has completed IEMA approved Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Masterclass under the GRI Professional Certification Program and is qualified as a Lead Auditor for ISO Environmental and Energy Management System Standards. Janna also holds proficiency in Asbestos Management with the British Occupational Hygiene Society, a Sustainability and Climate Risk Certificate from the Global Association of Risk Professionals and is currently studying GHG Accounting with GHG Management Institute.
